From the recording SUEÑO
What happens when the dream ends, but you refuse to stop dreaming?
Written from instinct and sung entirely in Spanish, “Sueño” is Loco Tranquilo’s most emotionally direct release: a song driven by urgent guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and the raw energy of a band playing together. Inspired by the intensity of Interpol, the momentum of The Strokes, and the pulse of Joy Division, the song explores self-love, identity, vulnerability, and the difficult journey of learning to believe in yourself again.
The video takes that emotional journey into a world where dream and reality, desire and identity, chaos and clarity begin to blur. Rather than simply illustrating the lyrics, the imagery explores memory, the subconscious, and transformation, reflecting the search for oneself through love, loss, and uncertainty.
At its center is a simple idea: becoming who you are is not a destination; it is something you choose again and again.
The video was filmed, directed, and edited by Eber Bravo, with VFX by Harry Porras and Isaac Garfinkel and art direction by Julián Armando Gervasi. The song was produced by Sean Fonda, co-produced by Gervasi and Samuel Gonzalez, recorded and mixed at Different Fur Studios, and mastered by Jack Shirley at Atomic Garden Studios.
'Sueño' is an invitation to move through uncertainty, wake up, and find the courage to dream again. To dream with your eyes open.
Lyrics
SUEÑO by LOCO TRANQUILO
[Verso 1]
Dejarme llevar
Por la inspiración
Esperando encontrar
Una nueva misión
[Verso 2]
Ponerme a pensar
Una buena razón
Poder imaginar
La vida con tu amor
[Coro 1]
Sin dolor
No hay sanación
Sueño al despertar
Sueño un corazón
[Verso 3]
Dejarme llevar
Por la inspiración
Esperando encontrar
Una nueva visión
[Coro 2]
Sin amor
No hay salvación
Sueño al despertar
Sueño un corazón
Sueño
Al despertar
